A 27 year old hillside vineyard located in southern Mendocino near Hopland, CA, longtime farming family, Nelson Vineyards, owns and manages this ranch. A very famous Sonoma clone, Paccini, is the bud wood source of this Zinfandel. Cole loam soils that inhibit production keeping the tonnage under 4 tons/acre and help exhibit structured spicy terroir of the area. Our wine making team is continuing to produce top quality wines not only from Lodi, but also carry that same wine making style towards other top Zinfandel regions in California.
